A HEAVY DOWNPOUR WATER IN TIMBER MILL [by TELEGRAPH-j-OWX correspoxdext] "WHANGAREI, Thursday Very heavy rain was experienced in Whangarei this morning, when something in the nature of a cloudburst occurred. The drainage throughout the township was fully taxed and in a number of places flooding took place. Water entered the sawmill of the Whangarei Timber Company, Limited, near the town wharf, and a number of men were placed on bailing in order that 110 stoppage should be necessary in the working of the mill.
