WIDOW KNOCKED DOWN
CAR DRIVEN BY DAUGHTER TWO CHARGES DISMISSED [nv TKLF.CIiA I'll riticss association] IXVEII('AI!GILL, Thursday Charges of negligent driving and of failing to stop when a person had been injured, preferred against Leonore Millard, aged 20, were dismissed in the Magistrate's Court to-day. Accused was the driver of a motor-car which struck and killed her mother. Mrs. Flora Millard, a widow, aged -10, in Kilos Road, on the night of April 2-1. ]n dismissing the charge of failing to stop the magistrate said that when accused discovered that someone bad been hit she returned within a. few minutes to the scene of the accident.
That was not the act of a " hit and run " motorist.
