PARIS SHOOTING
WOMAN AND VICTIM MEET EVIDENCE OF DIPLOMAT PARIS, May 5 Madame de la Ferriere, formerly Mile. Fontanges, and the Comte de Chambrun, former French Ambassador to Home, who was the victim of her shooting on a Paris railway station platform in March, met dramatically to-day in a Magistrate's Court. The Comte, who previously had denied the woman's allegations that he had interrupted an alleged romance between her and Signor Mussolini, is still suffering from the effects of his wound. Madame de la Ferriere said M. de Chambrun's relations with her were not always those of a true friend. The Comte gave evidence that the woman had confided to him certain matters, which he refused to disclose, claiming to be bound by professional secrecy. The case was adjourned.
