[]IY TET.ECRAPn —OWN CORRESPONDENT] OTOTCOHAXGA, Friday At a largely attended gathering of members of tlie Presbyterian Church and friend held in the Church Hall, n farewell was tendered to the Rev. T. H. Burton, who is leaving the district for Marton after GA years' service. Speeches were made hy Messrs. 11. Bell, H. Ingham and A. H. Perrott, elders of the church and by the Rev. A. C. White!aw, of To Awamutu, interim moderator of the Presbyterian Synod, the Rev. W. T. Brabvn, of Te Kuiti, the Rev. K. Small, vicar of Otorohango, and the Rev. H. W. Payne, Methodist minister at Otorolianga. On behalf of the Presbyterian Tennis Club Mr. F Bulford presented to Mr. Burton a handsome desk set, and from the congregation, a tricycle for Mr. Burton's voting son. Cheques were also presented from the congregations at Otorohanga and Te Kuiti by Mr. R. Bell and Mr. A. Edwards respectively. ;
