ITALIAN MANOEUVRES IN THE MEDITERRANEAN Sixty Italian warships ares to take part in exercises off the coast of Libya, Italy's North African colony. The object is to ascertain whether they can control shipping passing between Sicily and Libya. Signor Mussolini is to review the warships and also to open' the road completed last year linking Tunis with Egypt. The map and charts show the positions of British and Italian bases in the Mediterranean.
