AUCKLAND PROPOSAL STREETS IN THE CITY BUSINESS FIRM'S SERVICE A pro|>osal for the installation of the first rail-less trolley bus service in Auckland was submitted to the City Council last night by the Auckland Transport Board, when application was made for permission to run , a service with these vehicles around the rectangle formed by Hobson Street, Victoria Street, Queen Street and Wyndkam Street between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on week days, to 9 p.m. on Fridays and 9 a.m. to 12 o'clock on Saturdays. It was stated that this service would replace the present petrol buses running between the Farmers' Trading Company in Hobson Street and Queen Street.
