OBITUARY

MR. E. F. SEAGRAM CANADIAN SPORTSMAN (Received February 2, 5.5 p.m.) TORONTO, Feb. 1 The death has occurred of Mr. Edward Frowde Seagram, a prominent business man and sportsman.

Mr. E. F. Seagram was president of several companies and partner in a firm of stockbrokers. He was born at Waterloo, Ontario, on September 28, 1873. He finished his education at the McGill University and went into business with his father in 1894._ His racing stable has produced the winners of several classical events, and he was interested in many branches of sport.
