BRITISH YACHTSMAN
MR. SOPWITH IN FLORIDA PLANS FOR AMERICA'S CUP (Received January 17, 5.5 p.m.) MIAMI, Jan. 16 The British yachtsman Mr; T.O.M. Sopwith and Mrs. Sopwith, arrived at Miami to-day by air from Jamaica. He said he intended to bring the Endeavour I. and 11. to Newport next summer, and the faster craft would be eailed against the American defender in the race for the America's' Cup.
At present Mr. Sopwith is on a visit of inspection to the Clippei: ship bases of Pau-Anierican Airways.
