NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

WOMAN REQUESTS PAYMENT REFUSAL BY OSLO BANK (Received January 17, 5.5 p. n.) OSLO. Jan. 10 The police have seized the passport of Frau Krcutzberger, who yesterday presented an order for the payment of Karl von Ossictzsky's Nobel Peace Prize, which is worth about £BOOO. An earlier message stated that a woman had arranged for Ossictzsky's prize to lie transferred to the Koinmerz Bank in Berlin. It was not known whether it would be presented to Ossietzsky by the German Government. The bank at Oslo declined to pay over the money and is now trying to communicate with Ossietzsky. Frau Krcutzberger said she was acting on behalf of a Berlin doctor named Wannow. The newspaper Arbeiderbladot alleges that she is an agent for the German secret police.
