The fields were good and the Horotiu Plate was run in two divisions, an unusual occurrence at a non-totalisator meeting. Results: — HOROTIU PLATE, of £l2; 5 fur.—First division: Roselight, E. L. Collins' ch m, oyrs, by Illumination—Miss Rosalind, 8.12 (L. Dulieu), 1; Raceline, 6.12, car. 7.6 (J. McInall.v), 2; Dainty Lady, 8.3 (W. Thomson), 3. Also started: Taukiri, Dust Up, 9.1; Valquin, 0.0; Lady Chevion, 5.12. Roselight began best and led into the straight from Raceline, Dainty Lady and Dust Up. Roselight was not troubled to win by two lengths from the two-year-old Raceline, who beat Dainty Lady by six lengths, with Dust Up and Lady Chevion next. Time, lm lis. Second Division.—Aces Up, C. O. Abbey Lass led out from Aces Up and Le Turc, the two being well clear at the home turn. In a good finish Aces Up beat Abbey Lass by a neck, with Le Turc half a length away third. Golden Jubilee and Flying Blonde were next. Time, lm 6s. WAIF A TROTTING HANDICAP, of £ls and trophy valued at £7 10s; limit, 3.5; 1A miles. —Accel, Dr. M. G. Pezaro and E. G. Bridgens' b m, 4yrs, by Acron —Molly Doone, limit (F. .T. Smith), 1; Nerihana, limit (L. N. Vernall), 2; Elsie Hamlyn, limit (G. T. Mitchell). 3. Also started: Lydstep, Our Peggv, Bonnie Pointer, Hori Bineen, limit; Claudeland, 49yds bhd; Nauton Parrish, 06; Luminate, 108; Willie Derby, 210. Nerihana took the lead from Hori Bingen crossing tlie top and led into the straight from Accel, Elsie Hamlyn. Claudelands and Our Peggy. Accel finished strongly to win by two lengths from Nerihana, who beat Elsie Hamlyn by a wok, with Claudelands and Our Pesrpry almost in line. Times: 3m Is, 3m t 4-ss, 3m 2s.

Gay Streak was in front 100 yards from the judge, but, vigorously ridden, Calcutta got up to win by half a head, with Smilin' Thru' a lencrth away and just in front of Red Fox. Time, lm 4us. Gascvne led out and was joined at the hack by Sandrift, Le Turc and Red Fox, but on entering the straight, Sandrift drew out to win decisively by a length and a-half from Red Fox, who beat Gascyne by a length. •\ccel led round the turn with Ranfurly Lass in hot pursuit. The latter headed the leader, but tangled and Sir Frank flashed up to beat her b,v a neck, with Accel two lengths back. Nerihana and Nawton Parrish were next. Times: 3m 375, 3in 11 Is'is, 3m 40s.

Hard ridden, Tuaheahe got up to shade King Ford by a head, with Respectful a length back.
