BRITISH LABOUR PARTY
"POPULAR FRONT" ACTIVITIES MEMBERS NOT TO SUPPORT LONDON, Jan. 13 The national executive of the British Labour Party has issued a statement to the effect that, in view of decisions reached at conferences last year, it is of the opinion that the support of the members of the party should lie withheld from organisations pursuing "united front" or "popular front" activities.
The executive claims that the Labour Party is 'the most democratic :in British politics, and the only force by which Socialism can be realised in Britain. It urges members to support the party in constituencies, municipalities and Parliament to enable it to translate the Socialist policy into achievement.
