YOUNG MAN KILLED
ACCIDENT IN BUSH STRUCK BY FALLING TREE [by TKI.KGRAPH —OWN CORHF.SrOXDF.XT] OPOTIKI, Thursday Fatal injuries were received bv .Mr. Allan Kennedy, aged 23. in an accident in the bush at Toatoa, about 25 miles from Opotiki. The young man was employed by Mr. J. Sloan, contractor, of Opotiki, in cutting logs for milling purposes, and it is understood he was struck by the branch of a falling tree. He died while being brought to the Opotiki Hospital. An inquest will be held to-morrow before Mr. K. L. Walton. S.M.
