FISHING AT TAUPO
CONDITIONS IMPROVING T LADY ANGLER'S SUCCESS [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN* CORRESPONDENT] TAUPO, Thursday - Fine but dull weather has prevailed in Taupo, but the fishing conditions have improved, as compared with those experienced in the past three weeks. Good catches are being maintained from the Waikato River and launch parties on the lake are returning with satisfactory bags. Fishing from the launch Whizzbang 4 in the vicinity of Rangatira Point yesterday Mr. J. O'Grady and party, of " Auckland, landed 17 trout. These fish . were consistently good and the largest, a 10-pounder, was caught by Mrs. •O'Grady.
