TOUR ON BICYCLE

SPEAKER 0! r PARLIAMENT HON. W. E. BARNARD'S HOLIDAY The Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Hon. W. E. Barnard, will shortly enjoy a fortnight's relaxatum in the form of a bicycle tour from Auckland to Napier. Mr. Barnard will leave Napier on Saturday for Auckland, and at Palrnerston North he will be joined by a schoolmaster friend, with whom the trip will be made. Mr. Barnard intends to leave Auckland next Tuesday and arrive back in Napier at the end of the month. The route tentatively selected is by way of Hamilton, Tauranga, Whakatane, and Gisborne. The cyclists do not intend to camp out during their tour.
