Frnnich secured a shovel-nosed shark, which took about an hour and a-balf to bring to the side of the launch. As the fish was too large and 'heavy for Mr. Frnnieh and his companion to take on board they towed it to the entrance of the Mangawai Harbour, where it was hauled by half-n-dozen men above the title level. 'I he fish is 12ft. long and "ft. in girth. It will he officially weighed when the weather permits.
