CONVERSION OF MOTOR

MAN SENT TO PRISON DRIVER WITHOUT LICENCE [by TF.LEGRAFH—rjIF.SS association] DT7XEDIX, Monday Charges of converting a motor-car to his own use, being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-ear, and of being an nnlicenced driver, wore preferred against Lloyd Thomas Sims in the Police Court to-day.

The police said that the intoxication charge was only a borderline case, but the conversion offence was serious, as the car had been wrecked in an accident, while being driven by accused, and the owner would be unable to obtain any insurance.

On the conversion charge accused was sentenced to two months' imprisonment, and on the intoxication charge lie was ordered to pay medical expenses of a guinea. On the third change ho was convicted and discharged.
