SAMOAN CENSUS
EUROPEAN AND NATIVE [from ouk own correspondent] APIA, Doc. 21 The census of Samoa, taken on the night of November 4. reveals that there are 267 European whites—2ss males and 112 females. There are 3358 Euro-]>ean-Samoa.ns, 1683 males and 1675 females; 351 Chinese coolies and 83 black boys. A preliminary count of the natives gives 52,645, the grand total being 56,137. The tabulation and counting of the native schedules is now in hand.
