ACCIDENTS AT HOMES
FOUR PEOPLE IN HOSPITAL BOY AND THREE WOMEN All injury to the base of the skull was suffered by George Lenihaii Laing, aged seven, of 40 Warwick -Avenue, Grey Lynn, when at play at his home yesterday. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital in a fairly serious condition and will undergo an X-ray examination this morning. Through falling down some steps at her home at 3 Springfield Street, Morningside, yesterday Miss Ellen Sutherland suffered concussion and injuries to the skull. She was admitted to the Auckland Hospital at 9.40 last night, when her condition was stated to be fairly serious. Two other patients were admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday with fractures of the thigh, suffered through falling at their homes. They are Mrs. I). L. Mcintosh, of 21 Brentwood Avenue, Mount Eden, and Mrs. Annie Jones, of 9a Enfield Street, Mount Eden. The condition of each is described as not serious.
