CHINESE PRESIDENT
RESIGNATION REFUSED MARSHAL CHIANG KAI-SHEK NANKING, Dec. 29 Marshal Chiang Kai-shek offered to resign his position as President of the Executive Yuan. He asked that Marshal Chang Hsueh-liang, who led the Shensi revolt, should be pardoned. The Central Political Council, however, refused to accept the resignation and Marshal Chiang Kai-shek will continue as Prime Minister and Generalissimo,
