CHINESE INJURED

LYING IN STREET INQUIRIES BY POLICE Found by tlio police lying injured in a doorway in Hobson Street early yesterday morning a Chinese, Harry Fung Lum, aged 33, of Wallace Itoad, Mnngere, employed as a gardener by Loo Ah Pong, was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance, lie was suffering from head injuries and abrasions. Inquiries by detectives yesterday indicated that ho had been at a Hobson Street boarding house, where drinking had been going on during the night. Tho injured man's condition last night was not serious.
