INFANT'S BODY IN TIN
DISCOVERY ON BEACH Tho body of a newly-born female child was found in a tin on Kohimarama Beach shortly after six o'clock last evening. The tin was lying at high water-mark and it appeared to have been washed up by the tide, which had been full about two hours earlier. Tho discovery was made by a boy. Tho matter was reported to tho Kohimarama police and tho Central Police Station at Auckland was informed. Inquiries by detectives were proceeding last night.
