FAMOUS ATHLETE
MR. LOVELOCK SAILS TO-DAY
After a strenuous month's tour of th« Dominion, the Now Zealand athlete and Rhodes Scholar, Mr. J. E. Lovelock, will leave for Vancouver by the Aorangi this afternoon, en route to England. The chairman of the New Zealand Olympic and British hmpij* Games Association, Mr. H. McCormn who arrived in Auckland yesterday morning; from Wellington, stated 'I s . night that there would be 110 OLiCta farewell. f Mr. Lovelock is feeling the effects 01 his hurried tour, and, while ho lias been in Auckland he has been allowed a much time to himself as possible, { exhibition run at Carlaw Park oil urdav being the only occasion on 'i I ' l ' 1 he appeared in public.
