PROMINENT EDUCATIONIST
AUSTRIAN PROFESSOR VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND One of Europe's foremost educationists, Dr. Paul L. Dengler, will be among the speakers at the New Education Fellowship Conference, to be held in the Dominion next year. Born in Austria in 1886, Dr. Dengler took his doctorate of philosophy at the unusually early age of 23. Prominent for many years in continental educational movements, he became in 1930 a member of the faculty of the Universities of California and Denver, in the United States, and in 19.'52 was appointed visiting Carnegie Professor to the universities of Colorado, Kansas and Indiana. He has made many lecture tours.
