NATIVITY PLAY

HAMILTON PERFORMANCE [from our owx correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday The Nativity play "Bethlehem," by Laurence Housmann, was produced in St. Peter's Cathedral last evening, the performers being the members of the cathedral staff and choir, and the members of tho Cambridge Philharmonic Society. Miss Elizabeth Blako, honorary organiser in New Zealand for the British Drama League, was the producer, and took one of tho loading l oles.

The play was effectively staged. Those taking part performed with reverence and dignity, and the play made a deep impression on the congregation.
