MAORI ADMITS THEFT

FURTHER TERM IN PRISON Pleading guilty to a charge of stealing a bicycle, valued at £3, Haki Waikato, a Maori, who, it was stated, was serving a month's imprisonment for another theft, was sentenced, by Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., in the Onchunga Police Court yesterday, to a further month's imprisonment, to be served at tho expiration of the present term. The bicycle was sold to a secondhand dealer for l()s.
