MOTHERS' UNION

The final monthly meeting of the Papatoetoe branch of the Mothers' Union was hold in St. George's Hall on Thursday. The preliminary devotional service was conducted by tho vicar, the Rev. H. H. Bedford. Tho social afternoon was held in the kindergarten rooms and an address was given by Sister Kathie, of tho Grey Street mission. There was an excellent response to the appeal for parcels for the distribution of Christmas cheer through tho mission. Afternoon tea brought an enjoyable afternoon to a close.
