Krause OTAHUHU CLUB'S EVENTS The Otaluihu Swimming Club held a points meeting 011 Saturday at Stringer's Point on I lie Tamaki Creek. Patterson presided over a good •ittendance a! a special meeting of the Te i\wamutu Swimming Club He said that at Hie annual meeting last month il was decided. in view of recent legislation, thai the club would be unable le carry on control of the ha I lis, and il had been agreed to approach (lie Borough Council to ask it lo assume control. The council had complied and had appointed a caretaker. This meant thai the club would now be under the same conditions as other bodies which used borough reserves. The council, had also allowed the el ih two delegates to the Baths Conimillee. The election of officers resulted: —Patron, the Mayor. Mr. G. Spinley; president, Mr. S. S. Preston; vice-presidents. Messrs. S. A. Kuipson, 11. Holt. W. Mensforl hj, A. E. Patterson. secretary, Mr. F. Waters; treasurer, Mr J. Be* in; club captain, Mr. R. L. Adams; vice-captain, Mr. I). Preston, Patterson. On the motion of Mr. Patterson, it was derided that the movable assets of the club at the baths should be banded to the Borough Council.
