THE SEDDON MEMORIAL -v The question of removing the Seddon Memorial at Royal Oak to the triangular corner on the southern side of the intersection was brought before tho Onehunga Borough Council last nisxht by the Mount Roskill Road Board. The Mayor, Mr. J. Park, said an offer had been received to.do the work for but he estimated that additional ex- . pense would amount to £4O. The amount- ■ incurred by the council would be £IOO. It was decided to send this information to the Mount Roskill Road -Board. Permission to show pictures on Christmas Night was granted to the pro-, prietors of the local theatres. Considerable trouble with larrikins , was reported by the head gardener , Jellicoe Park, who complained tlifl* several lamp glasses had and the children's playing damaged. The matter will be report to tko police.
