GREEN LANE'S EASY WIN (ireen Lane had little difficulty in reaching the total of 70 compiled by lioskill in its first innings the previous week. Robinson, 27, and Roughton, 27. resumed the innings for t; reen Lane, and the latter was dismissed after adding two. Robinson, however, gavo a bright display and scored with nice shots all round the wicket. He quickly scored 52. which included nine fours. Gifford was unbeaten for l!», and (ireen I.ane declared with eicht wickets down for 100. Hoskill showed better batting _form in the second innings, which yielded 171. Langdon batted reallv well for 00. which included eight fours. With the result never in doubt there was not a great deal of interest in the match. Green Lane secured a four-point win.
