ETHICAL VALUE OF FILMS DISCUSSION WITH AMERICAN VATICAN CITY, Nov. 17 The moral advantages of films were discussed by the Pope to-day when he received Mr. Will Hays, president of the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America. "I was astonished at the Pope's knowledge of the cinema," said Mr. Hays. "His Holinesis said he greatly favoured the development of the industry as long as it tended to improve the general conditions of the human race."
