Sir, —t was pleased to see this subject brought up in your columns. For fnr too long lias a largo section of residents in both Ponsonby and Heme Hay districts been denied a proper roadway to I lie citv without having to lace the College Mill grind year after year. That the work, which is not ol an expensive nature compared to other road works undertaken, has not, been completed years ago is beyond com prehension. This roadway is ail essential and long felt want to thousands of people who will be grateful if some one with push and energy will take the necessary steps to bring it under th> notice of the proper authorities Action.
