NEW LABOUR OFFICE
PROVISION AT TAURANGA CENTRE FOR LARGE DISTRICT [BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT] TA U RA NOA, Wednesday A proposal of the Government to establish at Tauranga a central office of the Labour Department was outlined by Mr. C. H„ Burnett. M.P., in a letter received by the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Burnett said that the district to be served extended from Wailii to Opotiki and included both those centres. An experienced officer of the department would be moved from the south to Tauranga, and an office would bo opened in the new year.
