ATTITUDE OF MINISTER CONSIDERING PUBLIC TASTE [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPOND..NT] HAMILTON. Wednesday "I havo no hesitation in assuring you that it is my wish that tho outdoor advertising work of the Railway Department should bo conducted along lines that will not offend tho public taste, more particularly tho aesthetic aspect so far as local bodies are concerned," wrote the Minister of Railways, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, in a letter written to tho Municipal Association and received at a meeting of the Hamilton Borough CouncM this evening. Mr. Sullivan added thai tho department was fully aware of his views in tho mattor and every care would be taken by it in order to put this policy into effect. Tho department would give careful consideration to any representations made in respect of any, hoardings.
