THAMES CLUB'S EVENTS [yito.M our owx correspondent] THAMES, Monday The Thames Rod and Gun Club held a shoot on Saturday, (lie principal event being for the Drysdalc Cup, which went to E. Thornton. Results:— E.ve-opener Shoot, <> birds. —15. Wilson (11yds) ami A. McLean (10yds) shot the possible and divided the prize. Drysdale Cup, Jo birds.—E. Thornton (17yds), 10 birds, 1; J. Donnelly and A. McLean (10yds), 2; Dr. Liggins (15yds), 4. Club. Trophy, 8 birds. —E. Thornton (isyils), A. McLean (icyds), and B. Wilson (llyds), shot the possible. In the shoot-off Wilson won on the inth bird, McLean was second and Thornton third. Double Rise.—R. llolden (12yds), 1; E. Thornton and A. McLean (10yds), 2. Seven-bird Sweepstake.—R. llnxley and M. Donnelly (llyds) shot the possible and divided.
