RECEPTION POSTPONED The civic reception to Sir Jaraet Parr, former High Commissioner in London for New Zealand, which was to have been held to-morrow, has been postponed until Thursday. The reception will bo held at the Town Hal! Council Chamber at 12.15 p.m. Sir James Parr is returning from England by the liner Rangitata, which is due at Auckland to-morrow morning. A welcome home luncheon in honour of Sir James Parr is to be held bv the Auckland Grammar School Old Boys Association in Milne and Choyce s He* eeption Hall at 12.45 p.m. on Thursday, when Sir James will give an address on international affairs.
