LONDON OMNIBUS STRIKE
DISPUTE OVER TIMETABLES CONGESTION ON UNDERGROUND LONDON, Oct. 7 A "lightning strike" of London busmen over the new winter time schedules immobilised 641 omnibuses on 24 routes and caused great congestion on the tubes and underground trains. Subsequently the strike was settled and tho men will resume work tomorrow.
