NAVY LEAGUE
GIRLS' BRANCH DANCE The girls' branch of the Auckland Navy League gave a danco for tho petty officers and men of tho ships in port in the Catholic Women's League rooms on Wednesday evening. There was a large attendance of members and friends, and a most enjoyable evening was spent. Among those present were: —Mrs. Sherd, who wore a black georgette frock; Miss A. Kelly, blue taffetas; Miss B. Vella, white lace; Miss Cashin, floral taffetas; Miss Wright, black satin; Miss Kinkela, blue taffetas; Miss Stewart, black georgette; Miss Home, blue marocain; Miss J. Nichols, pink lace; Miss R. Finn, lavendar crepe; Miss 13. Roberts, blue crepe; Miss N. Cashin, brown satin; Miss E. Lintott, floral georgette; Miss Gerrard, black velvet; Miss D. Aughton, blue crepe; Miss Parsons, green lace; Miss J. Nicholis, green satin; Miss K. Brown, green crepe. «
