KAUKAPAKAPA CLUB The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of tho Kankapakapa Tennis Club:—President, Mr. L. F. Stewart; Vicepresidents, Mrs. P. D.ve; secretary, Mr. B. Jones; treasurer. Miss V. Jones; club captain, Mr. A. Dye; committee, Messrs. L. F. Stewart, B. Jones, T. Greenall, A. Dye, Mrs. P. Dyo and Misses V. Jones. E. Stewart.

TOTARA NORTH CLUB A sound position was revealed by the balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Tntara North Tennis Club. The report stated tiiat a second court had been laid and that prospects were bright for the coming season. The question of Sunday play was discussed and when a decision permitting such was arrived at, seven members left the meeting. CLUBS AT CAMBRIDGE [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday The official openings took place last Saturday of five of the tennis clubs in the Cambridge district. At Bruntwood the season was opened by the patron, Mr. W. B Frost, and friendly games were played. A gooil number of players were present for the opening at Horahora. A record attendance gathered on the St. Andrews courts, when the president, the Rev. C. W. Chandler, and G. B. Thorpe, opened the courts. Mrs. Chandler played the first ball. A tournament was won by Mrs. Kathleen Ibbotson. The Itev. \V. J. Oxbrow declared the season open at the St. Paul's Club, and Mr. Charles Bruce performed a similar office at Taotaoroa. The Cambridge Tennis Club will commence its season next Saturday

MERCURY BAY CLUB [from our own* correspondent] WHITIANGA. Tuesday The opening of the Mercury Bay Tennis Club's season took placo on Saturday in idea! weather. In the absence of the president, .Mr. L. Anderson, the opening ceremony was conducted by Mr. J)ewar, who extended a welcome to visitors from neighbouring localities. Sir. Dcwar said that both from the standpoint of play and finance the last year had been most successful. Thanks were returned by Mr. 11. Purser, on behalf of the Coromandel Club.
