UNSUCCESSFUL SEARCHES REPORTED NEAR TE KUITI Although searches were continued yesterday no trace has yet been found of the prisoner, John William Graves, who escaped from Waikune camp earlier in the week. The latest report received by the police at Auckland last night- was that Graves was believed to have been seen in the vicinity of Te Kuiti. All police -stations in the city and suburbs, as well as those in the counti\, have been warned to be on the look-out for the prisoner.
