Cochrane will leave for New Zealand on October 2 to advise on the subject of air defence. He is a graduate of the Imperial Defence College and of the .Royal Air Force Stall' College. f It was announced by Mr. Savage, the Prime Minister, on September 2, that, at the request of the Dominion, an expert on military aviation would be sent to New Zealand. His visit is timed to coincide with that of Mr. F. G. L. Bertram, Deputy-Director of Civil Aviation to the British Air Ministry, who is to advise the Government on matters related to commercial and passenger Hying.
