Mary Boland and Charles Ruggles have been cast in another comedymystery for Paramount. It is called "Safari." The leading role in Radio's "Million Dollar Princess" has been assigned to Ann Sothern. Edward Kaufman is directing. Charlotte Henry, who played the title role in "Alice in Wonderland," has become engaged to George James Martin, an engineer. Reginald Owen has joined the cast of Columbia's "Adventure in Manhattan." Jean Arthur and Joel McCrea are the stars. John Barrymoro has had to withdraw from the cast of "Camillo" owing to illness. His part will be taken by his brother, Lionel. Universal claim to have discovered yet another child star. She is Jean Dante, and will make her film debut in "Four Days' Wonder." Richard Boleslawski has been loaned to Columbia by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to direct Irene Dunne in "Theodora Goes Wild." Melvyn Douglas will bo Miss Dunne's leading man. James Cagney is due to start work for Grand National, the company that he has joined since his quarrel with Warners, within a few weeks. Among the stories suggested for him is "Studs Lonnegan," a novel of Chicago hoodlum life.
