WOMEN'S DIVISION

To Awamutu. —Mrs. W. Neill presided over a meeting at which Sister Stringer, of Wellington, Dominion Junior Red Cross Society's organiser, was the speaker. Airs. F. H. Parnett related some experiences while on a recent tour in Australia. Vocal solos were rendered by Airs. Livingstone with violin obligato by Airs. Barry. A marmalade competition was won by Airs. Ryburn. A collection for the crippled children's fund resulted in £2 6s being received. Riverhoad. —A meeting was held recently in the district hall when Airs. Levy, president, presided. Arrangements for a "Paddy's Market," to be held in aid of the annual Christmas tree were completed. The competition for the month, a sponge sandwich, was won by Airs. Simpson, with Airs. Newlove second. The lucky prize for the afternoon was won by Airs. Woolnough.
