ANNUAL REUNION

HAWKE'S BAY RESIDENTS A happy and informal reception was held in the Milno and Choyce Reception Hall yesterday afternoon, when a large number of Hawke's Bay residents, now living in Auckland, met to celebrate tho fifth annual reunion, arranged by a committee comprising Mrs. E. Varley Hudson, Mrs. W. H. Wilson, Mrs. C. Heald, Mrs. F. Howard, Mrs. 11. A. Burlinson and Mrs. A. E. Wells. Tho hall was- charmingly arranged with tall stands of spring flowers and foliage, while bowls of brightly-hued Iceland poppies added colour to the tea tables. The guests were received by Mrs. Hudsori, who, in a brief speech of welcome, said that the reunion was a delightful opportunity for former residents of Hawke's Bay to renew friendships and exchange reminiscences. A welcome was also extended to the guests by Mrs. W. H. Wilson. Competitions were held before afternoon tea was served and an enjoyable programmo was presented by Mrs. C. Prime, who gave pianoforte solos; Mrs. H. King, who sang, and Miss E. Wells, who recited. Tho accompanist was Mrs. McKinney. Among those present were:—Mrs. W. Allen, Mrs. Faulkner, Mrs. W.
