NEWSPAPERS IN SCHOOLS
Classes set aside for the reading of newspapers will bo introduced next voar at the New Plymouth Boys' High School. Tho principal, Mr. W. H. Moves, said recently that each class would devote one period a week to tho reading of current newspapers, tho object being to ensure that every pupil had a good knowledge of current world affairs. It, was essential that every boy should have a knowledge of world affairs, and the best way of getting this was through tho newspapers.
