CHRISTCHURCH MEMORIAL
The casting of the bronze figures for the war memorial to be erected in the Square, Christchurch, is progressing well, said the sculptor for the memorial, Mr. W. T. Trethewav, who has returned to Christchurch after a nine months' trip to Europe. He added that it was hoped to have the figures shipped from London in December. Work on the stone cross and other parts of the memorial would be put in hand in Christchurch shortly.
