COMMISSION ON BOUNDARIES THAMES TO TAURANGA [by telegraph—own correspondent] THAMES, Friday There has been some agitation lately by the Waihi Borough Council, the Waihi Chamber of Commerce and the Waihi branch of tho Farmers' Union regarding the necessity of altering the boundaries of the Coromandol, Thames, Waihi and Tauranga hospital districts. Mr. J. Thorn, M.P., made representations to the Minister of Health, tho Hon. P. Eraser, upon the matter, and has received the following reply:— "It has been decided to set up a commission within the terms of section 2 of the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Amendment Act, 1932, to investigate whether the boundaries of the Thames, Waihi, Coromandol and Tauranga hospital districts should bo altered, and also whether the foregoing hospital districts should be reconstituted so as to form a smaller number of districts. The secretaries of tho two first-mentioned bodies have boon advised direct concerning the decision."
