BRIDGE AFTERNOONS

I Tho final of the winter series of bridge I afternoons was lielc! by tJio Whangarei Croquet Club in Pelitas' Studios on Monday, when the prizes won during the series were presented by tho president, Mrs K. Kadclilfo. Thirteen tables were engaged iri play. The prizes for the highest scores for the afternoon were won by Mesdanies J. G. Campbell and 11. A. Good, and tho lucky chair prize was won by Mrs. Clinton Jones. Hie highest aggregate points prize for the season was won by Mrs. 1). (J'Donoghue, with Mrs. T. Mitchell as the winner of the second prize. I'he hostesses for tho afternoon were Mesdanies J'. E. Woodman, K. T. Tudohope, J. G. MacLeod and H. I'. Menzies. Among others present were:—Mrs. L.
