CATHOLIC CONCERT

At tho Town Hall, Manurewa, Madame Ailecn Frost organised a children's concert in aid of funds for tho Catholic Church. The evening was very enjoyable and was greatly appreciated by a large audience. A distinctive feature of the entertainment was tho success attained by the pupils in memorising their parts, and this, in coniunetion with excellent rendition, contributed very largely to the pleasure of the evening. Tho programme was well selected and each item was chosen with duo regard to tho ability of the pupil. The performers included:—Valerie Small, Leolo Church, Aubrey Church, Gloria Jackson, Bryan Morrogh, Peggy Neilson, Pattie Morrogh, Terence Small, Keith Forbes, Norma Wall, Mary Holland, Frank Morrogh, Jeffrey Hill, Dick Wilkes, Verna Sheldon, Colin Hill Daphne Wallen, Valerio Morrogh, Mario Wrightson, Elaine Walker, Stephen Hope, Hope Valerie Wall, Molly Fraser, Bernard Morrogh. Joan Smith, as interlocutor for the concert, was outstanding for her excellent management of tho entertainment. Tho accompaniments were played by Madame Aileeu Frost.
