TAMAKI CLUB'S SEASON. NEW OFFICERS ELECTED "The outstanding feature of the past year was the Sanders Cup contest in which the club took a prominent part," said Mr. W. A. Wilkinson, commodore, at the annual meeting of the Tamaki Yacht Club. Reviewing the activities of the club. Mr. Wilkinson said that the past season was a good ono. The racing was keen, and the entries and receipts were better than those for the previous year. The club was represented in the Naval Whalers, the Goodfcllowship Cup and all inter-club contests. Its represontativo, Marie, made a very close finish in the Lipton Cup race, only losing the trophy by seconds. The cyclonic gale last February did considerable damage to the sea wall round the clubhouse and provision was made to build it three feet higher and continuo it round the front of the point. For this purpose a considerable amount of bluestone from the old post office had been secured, and the club has now waiting funds to enable it to be laid.

Mr. Wilkinson paid a compliment to the Indies' committee for their work on the social side of the club, which resulted in a substantial addition to revenue, and also thanked the officers and committee for their lo.val support during the year, ile eulogised the work of Mr. R. L'rquhart, who had held the position of honorary secretary for the past fivo years, and was not offering his services again. The financial statement showed ■ a credit balance of £4: i. During the year the membership had increased to 270. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. Ernest Davis; president. Mr. W. P. Endean, M.P.; comniodore, Mr. W. A. Wilkinson; vice-commodoro, Mr. F. D. Pidgeon; rear-commodore, Mr. S. B. Atkinson; honorary secretary, Mr. L. H. Matthews; honorary treasurer, Mr. W. Jackson; honorary assistant secretary, Mr. R. Urquhart; honorary solicitor, .Mr. F. Marshall White; honorary architect. Mr. M. K. Draffin; honorary engineer, .Mr. J. McKinlay; clubhouse captain, Mr. Allen White; assistant captain, Mr. .T. Godfrey; honorary auditors. Messrs. W. McLaren and W. E. Webster; committee, Messrs. D. Blake, A. L. Barker, (j. Beckett, L. Couldrev, f'larid;re, S. F. Ford, S. Greenhoutrh, .T. Godfrey, C. Meeks. J. Madill, O. F. Marshall White, 11. S. Orr, N. Williams, E. P. Wild, B. W. Wheaton. A number of trophies was promised for the coming season and 33 new members were elected.
