CHILDREN'S CAMP FUNDS
BORSTAL INMATES ASSIST PUBLIC CONCERT GIVEN [from OUR ow:; CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON. Thursday A public concert was given in Hamilton this week by a party of inmates of the Waikeria Borstal Institute. The function was held to assist the funds of the Waikato Children's Camp League, also to express appreciation for the visits paid to the institute by parties of entertainers from Hamilton, ihe concert was under the patronage of the Mayor and the Hamilton Borough Council. At the conclusion the Mayor, Mr. J. R. Fow, said the performers had shown a fine spirit in- gn'ing the proceeds to the camp fund. He proposed a vote of thanks,' which was carried with enthusiasm. A message was received from the Controller of Priso is expressing thanks for all that had been done for the inmates of Waikeria.
